Terranova-MRI

Terranova-MRI is a complete NMR and MRI teaching system that enables students to learn the principles of NMR & MRI and to generate 2D and 3D MR images. The system is very cheap to operate and works almost anywhere, inside and outside, because it makes use of the ubiquitous Earth's magnetic field.

The whole system weighs less than 40lbs (20kg) and is cheap to operate. No cryogens are required and the magnetic and RF fields involved are very low power. It does not require permanent laboratory space because after using it, you can easily store it due to the small size and weight of the whole system.

A student guide full of experiments and questions suitable for an advanced undergraduate laboratory is included along with a user manual and a software manual. All parameters are under digital control and can be changed by the student to see the effect on the experiment.
